We're Hiring
Practice the kind of medicine that listens.
Ancuram Family Medicine is growing our care team. We're looking for compassionate Medical Assistants, LPNs, and Chronic Care Managers who want to know their patients by name — and have the time to actually do it.
A patient-centered medical home
Small team. Longer visits. Real continuity of care. We built Ancuram so providers and patients aren't rushed — and our staff feel that difference every day.

Why Ancuram
A small practice that treats its team the way it treats its patients.
You'll know every patient who walks through our door. You'll have time to do your job well. And you'll work alongside a physician and two FNPs who genuinely listen to patients and to each other.
Care that listens
Patients tell us all the time that Dr. Hanley actually listens. We hire people who do too.
Small, tight team
One physician, two FNPs, and a close-knit clinical staff. You won't get lost in a system.
Sane hours
Monday–Friday, 8 to 6. No weekends, no call rotation, no chaotic ER pace.
Work in paradise
Pine Island living: laid-back, beautiful, and a real community of patients who'll know your name.
Open Roles
Four ways to join our team.
We'll consider both experienced and motivated inexperienced candidates
What matters most is how you treat people.
Medical Assistant (MA)
Be the first welcoming face every patient sees and the steady hand that keeps the clinical day running. You'll work closely with our physician and FNPs in every visit.
Type: Full-time & Part-time
Hours: M–F, 7:30–6
What you'll do
Room patients, take accurate vitals, and update histories
Prepare patients and assist providers during exams and minor procedures
Administer injections, perform EKGs, and collect lab specimens
Manage in-basket messages, refills, and patient follow-up communication
Keep exam rooms stocked, clean, and ready for the next patient
What we're looking for
CMA or graduate of an accredited MA program (we'll consider no MA experience for strong candidates)
1+ year in a primary care or outpatient setting preferred
Comfort with EHRs — Athena experience a plus, not required
Genuine warmth with patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics
BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Bring your clinical judgment to a practice that values it. You'll take on a wide scope; triage, treatments, and patient education with providers who actually listen to your read on the patient.
Type: Full-time & Part-time
Hours: M–F, 7:30–6
What you'll do
Perform clinical triage on phone and walk-in concerns; route urgency appropriately
Assist with same-day acute visits, wound care, and in-office procedures
Administer immunizations, injections, and prescribed treatments
Educate patients on new diagnoses, medications, and self-management
Coordinate referrals, lab follow-up, and pre-visit prep with our team
What we're looking for
Active Florida LPN license in good standing
1 year of outpatient or family medicine experience preferred
Strong assessment skills and confidence in patient education
Calm under pressure on busy mornings and same-day add-ons
Current BLS; CPR for healthcare providers
Front Desk Staff
Be the warm welcome and the calm voice on the phone. The front desk is the first thing patients experience at Ancuram, and the relationships you build there set the tone for everything else.
Type: Full-time & Part-time
Hours: M–F, 7:30–6
What you'll do
Greet patients at check-in and check-out with warmth and patience
Answer phones, schedule and reschedule appointments, and manage same-day slots
Verify insurance eligibility, collect copays, and process patient payments
Maintain patient demographics, consent forms, and intake paperwork in Athena
Coordinate incoming records, referrals, and faxes with the clinical team
Keep the waiting room and reception area welcoming, organized, and HIPAA-compliant
What we're looking for
High school diploma or equivalent; medical office experience strongly preferred
Comfort with EHR scheduling — Athena experience a plus, not required
Excellent phone presence and a steady, friendly demeanor under busy stretches
Working knowledge of insurance verification, copays, and basic medical billing flow
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Chronic Care Manager
Be the dedicated health partner our CCM patients count on between visits. You'll build long-term relationships with people managing diabetes, hypertension, COPD, and heart disease, and watch them get measurably better.
Type: Full-time & Part-time
Hours: M–F, 7:30–6
What you'll do
Develop and maintain personalized care plans for each CCM patient
Deliver 20+ minutes of monthly care coordination per patient: calls, secure messages, follow-up
Reconcile medications and flag potential interactions with the provider team
Coordinate care transitions from hospitals, rehab, and home health
Connect patients with community resources — transportation, meals, behavioral health
Document time and outcomes accurately to support Medicare Part B billing
What we're looking for
RN, LPN, or experienced MA with care coordination background (we're flexible)
Experience with chronic disease management or Medicare CCM strongly preferred
Excellent phone presence - patients should feel heard, not processed
Organized, detail-oriented documentation habits
